Aluminum Foil

            The humans have been home about a month now. There are no signs that they will be leaving anytime soon. I have to say I’m enjoying all this extra time with them, however, I do not like the aluminum foil they have put out on our table. It prevents me from jumping up and admiring the plants they have planted. Although I’ve tried to maneuver around it, my attempts thus far have been unsuccessful.  

A couple weeks ago, I watched as my parents planted several seeds in containers on our 4-season front porch. I curiously stood by and watched them, like I normally do. The plants had begun sprouting last week and I began to get a closer look at them up on the table. Sometimes, while on the table, I’d sneak a quick nibble. My mother caught me a couple times and then laid out foil. I can’t quite put my paw on it as to why cats hate foil, but we really do!

Mother says that we must wait until the plants grow larger before eating. I hate playing the waiting game! One of the plants I nibbled on was really good and I wanted more of it. My parents labeled it catnip. Not sure what that is but it was really good!
