Favorite Pastime

            Spirit here again and I know how much you’ve missed me during this past week. I have been eager to get my paws back on this laptop. Now that I’m back, I’ve spent some time reading over comments and inquiries about my sister and I’s blog. We appreciate all of the feedback we have been getting, and the love and support we have gotten from our fellow felines. A good question came in this week from Grumpy Cat.

What is my sister and I’s favorite pastime? Well we are glad you asked Grumpy Cat. We love to play hide and go seek. My personal favorite hiding spots have been behind doors, in the tub, and lurking around corners. I get a thrill from the hunt and chase of it all. I know my parent’s hate when we play this game late at night and in the early morning, but that is when I have the most energy. You can hear me during this time galloping around the house looking for a place to hide, or trotting away when my sister has found me. I don’t know why, but I believe in my past life I was a horse, however, that is a story for another time.

            Elina (aka the lioness) here to set the record straight. Spirit believes I’m playing hide and go seek with her, but I’m really not. Sometimes I walk out of a room and I find her darting out from behind the door. I think to myself, how long has she been sitting there crouched like that? She is very sprightly, which makes her name, Spirit, very fitting. Sometimes I play along to humor her, but I’d rather be bird watching or taking a nap next to my mother.

            Life would be a lot less entertaining without Spirit around. Early in our life, we both had tough times living outdoors on our own. However, now we are in our furever home and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
